Carroll on the Vikings’ choice of Booty

The folks in Minnesota go to the source in trying to evaluate their fifth round choice in the draft. Not a lot of new information there, but I for one didn’t realize that
Scott Studwell, Vikings director of college scouting, played for the Vikings when Carroll was a linebackers coach here from 1985 to ‘89. They [...]

Question of the day

Considering that one out of every eight guys drafted yesterday was a Trojan, does that make this past season more or less disappointing? I vote more. Maybe I won’t feel so bad when 75% of them turn out to be busts like all the other ones.

Titans offensive coordinator Norm Chow is known to be a candidate. Two other possible NFL choices for UCLA would be Raiders head [...]

More on Mario Williams

Here is the bottom line:

Chuck Casserly made a smart move for the Texans, who play in the Peyton Manning division; they needed a pass-rush presence and in two years he has figured it out.
The Saints made a good pick based on the fact that they had Deuce: Reggie works well in space and can catch [...]

After another Mario Williams big game…

Cue another round of “The Texans made the right choice, Reggie Bush is a bust” hype. And you know what? It’s getting harder and harder to argue with that.
