Not only was today’s 72-63 win over the Bruins good for the program (a rare nationally televised game, even Billy “Tough Little Monkey” Packer and SEC Vern were there), but in the immediate future SC beating UCLA gave them a big boost as far as the tournament goes.

Also, Billy “You always fag out” Packer said that this win makes USC 100-124 lifetime against UCLA. Not too shabby, considering that a) UCLA had the greatest coach in the history of major American team sports, and b) USC played in the Sports Arena for much of those, meaning they hardly played basketball at all.
