I agree with you..but I want to comment on 08. By the end of the season I think USC was the best. But they keep on loosing the big games. They seemed to have finally got it together by the end of the season but two defeats won't get it done.

C-Rob,

What? Ain'tcha got no love for Bradford?

I couldn't agree with a fellow Trojan-fan any more than you CommishRob. On all points. I'll go further- I think Sark sucks. If I can equate him to music, he's like "candy-rave" to "SF-house". Meaning, he's got all these angles, themes, and disparate highly technical razzle-dazzle, but he ain't gots no "soul" behind it all. It's like he's not "feeling the beat" or something. Just goes full-steam ahead to absolutely nowhere. If he could put together something with a solid groove and feel his way through the cadence and rhythm of a game. He blows it more times than not. (what's with running off-tackle on 3rd and long ALL THE TIME? it's like a freaky "groundhog day" every friggin 3rd down. I got a diamond in my crack over his lameness. That's the bad news. The good news is, I still have my sweet-ass 54" television. Haven't broken the flock out of yet through my Sark-frustrations)

I hope you're getting paid CommishRob. I totally dig your show.

Commish,

I think you make some valid points. The running game needs a little more of Stafon Johnson (and maybe C.J. Gable when healthy) and Joe McKnight next year should only get better. The Stanford loss is especially bitter considering how many teams stumbled down the stretch. 'SC would have definitely found themselves in the title game with just one loss to Oregon.

But I think those of us who are 'SC fanatics have become a little spoiled. Although it's almost a decade ago, let's remember what it was like before Pete arrived. The Trojans could be on the verge of completing a second straight "disappointing" season with a second straight Rose Bowl win.
