Until SC lost to Stanford, they had all picked the Trojans for the title game; now, after the close call against Arizona, Ivan Maisel has SC against OU in the Fiesta Bowl and Mark Schlabach has SC going down I-5 to San Diego to play Kansas in the Holiday Bowl.

Some of our loyal readers—including our newest contributor, the Urban Poet—think that I do not understand about injuries, and that the “Dwarf from Shreveport” is really a fine player. But until this team dominates an opponent I will not believe. And, as I’ve said, the next time the Dwarf makes a throw that wins a game it will be the first.
