The weekend of September 15th got its own Sportscenter segment yesterday as the ESPN Championship Series discussed Tennessee at Florida and USC at Nebraska. Rece, Mark and the Old Leprechaun discussed both games. Even though Lou liked Tennessee, they took Florida at home.

Both Lou and Mark took SC to win in Lincoln. (I am scared to death of that game.)

Thus, through the games of September 15th:

  1. USC (2-0)
  2. LSU (3-0)
  3. West Virginia (3-0)
  4. Wisconsin (3-0)
  5. Florida (3-0)
  6. Texas (3-0)
  7. Oklahoma (3-0)
  8. Michigan (3-0)
  9. Cal (3-0)
  10. Virginia Tech (2-1)

[...] Ok since our last installment of ESPNU’s Championship Series they have rolled into Conference play and we missed 2 huge games of October 6th (sorry married with kid, so weekends are tough before there are games).  In this new installment  Rece, Mark and Lou go over the big game of October 13th and 20th.  On October 13th they have chosen the Wisconsin Badgers visit to State College to take on Penn St.  While Lou thinks Penn St will keep it close he and Mark like the Badgers to roll on as the Big 11 frontrunner.  Moving to October 20th we get SC at ND and highlights of the “Bush Push” and 4th and 9.  You also get the Lepruachaun picking the Irish to upset SC and Mark and Rece have to correct the former Irish coach.  (I think he is still bitter about November 30, 1996)  So after October 20th here is the new ESPN Top 10: [...]
