Were Tommy Tuberville’s comments on Wednesday somehow prophetic? He did say, after all, that

“I’ve about had it with this playoff deal,” Tuberville said after a lengthy, emotional argument for a playoff. “We all understand in our conference how tough it is. In our conference, that’s about the only chance we’d have to make it.”

He was certainly right about that. Either way, this is good news for SC—whatever credibility we lost due to our underwhelming win over Wazzu, we should get back after this big-time win for Arkansas. (And no, we don’t want to hear any objections having to do with Darren McFadden.)
