The Florida Gators have a new CB, and despite transferring from Utah he won’t miss a game. Ryan Smith—who played for Urban Meyer at Utah—graduated in 2 years and can now play for the Gators due to an NCAA rule change that allows players who have graduated to transfer their eligibility to a new school immediately. This windfall for Florida comes just days after 2 DB’s went down injured. You have to wonder if the NCAA is really as dumb as they appear.
